A loong time since my last post, which was written in a mood comprising of disappointment, disillusionment, worry, conflicting emotions, ego and a mixture of all the good-bad things that often fight inside me.The only thing that has been same from the last post and this one is that I am busy, I have contemplated a lot on this and have found that, my indulgence to satiate my boredom leads me to do, what they call- "Timepass". I am working on that too. Anyways, this means I don't have much time for my leisure..So, I thought why not share this poem my William Davies by the same name-
One might say that I ain't posting something new, something original from my side. But, well, I post what I feel like.. And, ya I soon will have enought time (genuinely) to post something entirely from my side, without quoting anything..LOVE :)--
LEISURE
What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this is if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
Very thoughtful! :)
